Writing Workshop/ Freebie #3 (Teeny, Tiny Notebooks)

Teeny, Tiny Notebooks

I know you have all heard of "Blues Clues". We use this to jump start our Teeny, Tiny Notebooks lesson. Who doesn't like "Blues Clues"?
We talk about all the things he writes down in his notebook. Is it filled with details?
When we really start to look at what he is "jotting down", we find that it is just the little things that he is observing.
We can do that in our own lives. Instead of writing down what happened the entire day we write a few words that will jog our memory.
I use an example in my life that has happened.

I have tried a couple different versions of this.
~~~Cutting full size notebooks in half or thirds.
This is hard to do and doesn't end of looking very nice.
~~~Using the little assignment notebooks.
This works well, but doesn't get the "TEENY" part across.
~~~The last couple years I have been using the very small composition notebooks.
I like these, but still not "TEENY".
~~~So, I created one.
I got the idea from Turnaround Design.
She had made them, but had removed the link to download. So, I made my own.

Click on the picture to download.
I hope you find good uses for this.
Enjoy!
Have a wonderful day!
