Tuesday: Speed Sort
Tuesday is the kiddos favorite day!
They love to see how fast their can sort their words.
I have tried many things... having them check their own time, timing them with a stopwatch, giving them timers, but the best thing that has worked for me is a big timer they can all see on the SmartBoard.
Someone had shared this cool website before. I can't remember who had shared it so I apologize for not giving you credit. :)
This really motivates the kiddos to look up when they are done. Of course I have to show them what happens so they are not constantly looking up at the SB.
After they finish their Speed Sort they record their time and we do it again.
