Go Snowman! Sight Word Game

I know I keep saying this, but my firsties need to work on their sight words!
I have tried this little game during our Daily 5 time, Work on Words.
They are LOVING it!

Just like the original game of Go Fish!, except the kiddos say Go Snowman!.

I have found a few of them saying Oh Snowballs!, which is even cuter.

Make Your Own Masterpiece #TpTsellerchallenge

This one took me a while to decide what I was going to do. I use this as a Word Work choice during Daily 5, but I haven't liked what I was using. So, I created this. :)
I had something similar in my store, but it was not very user friendly.

Race to the Top is something that I have done since I started teaching. I love it, my kiddos love it, and my parents love it.

I like to cut out and laminate each set of six so that I am ready for the week. I put them into baggies along with the recording sheets. 

I even send them home for homework. They LOVE it!!!

Race to the Top (Freebie)

I know a lot of you have a Race to the Top game for sight words. I wanted to jazz mine up a bit for the kids. I made them a little seasonal based on the weeks we have chosen for the words.

Before I implemented the Daily 5 this year, I had them work on these in a Center. You can have them do these individually or in groups. I thought I might even put the dice up on my Smart Board.

I will have them work on these during Work on Words in Daily 5. I am going to try this out for the first time this week. I will let you know how it goes.
