Winner!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The winner of my teeny tiny giveaway is Lori Rosenberg. Look for an email from me. :)

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I have been so busy with spring stuff. I know we still have 20 and 2 1/2 days left, but I feel like it's all a blur at the end of the year.
Even my kiddos feel it! They are finally done with all the testing that we have to do.
WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!
The PTA is having a luncheon for Teacher Appreciation Day (I know, a little late) this week. I have data meetings and our author's visit! All in one week!
Goodness!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I am going to take some time tonight and blog stalk all of you. So, watch out!!!
It's been too long. :)
Have a wonderful day!

Mother's Day Projects and Project Based Learning

I found a project on Pinterest for my little one's Mother's Day gifts.
We had transplanted geraniums a few weeks back. They are looking very healthy.
I didn't want this to be their only gift, so we made some "flowers".

They had such a BLAST painting the popsicle sticks for the petals.

We had a ton of paint left over. I was going to have them draw our community with crayons.
I am so glad we had so much paint left over.
I need to do this more often.

One of the activities in our Project Based Learning Community Project was to make a landscape of our community.
They remembered EVERYTHING!!!

It's sooooooooo long!!! I just need to find a place to hang it up!
They did a fabulous job!

Have a wonderful day!

Don't forget to enter my teeny tiny giveaway. :)

Five For Friday and a Teeny Tiny Giveaway

It's FRIDAY! It's FRIDAY!!!
Woo Hoo!
I didn't think it would ever come!

ONE

We are finishing up our research for our PBL community projects and will be working on the skits next week. To pull it all together (and to have a little fun) we painted our entire community.
It was SOOO much fun!

TWO

I was sick on Wednesday. UGH! I did get a little time to organize a few files for my computer. I also made a little freebie for you. :)

If you need a cute little activity for adding and subtracting, head on over to my TpT store to pick it up.

THREE

I am LOVING my chickens. We have about SIX DOZEN eggs in our fridge right now.

This is my little bantam that thinks he is about 3 feet tall. He was answering the rooster down the hill this morning! :)

FOUR

We have 12 viable eggs in our incubator. The kiddos are so excited! We candle them every third day. I am not sure I will do it again. I get very superstitious when it comes to the end. Their due date is next Tuesday.

See all the smiley faces. :)

Quick Tutorial for Pages

Hello!
If you are a Mac user like me, you know how easy they are to use once you learn how.
This is an easy tutorial on how to put a tinted image in the back of your text.

I always add at least one of these to my products.
The only limitation I have found is if you are adding a lot of these images to your product it will get very large.

Enjoy!!!

Five for Friday and a Freebie ALL DAY LONG!!!

Here I am again. My favorite day of the week. Isn't it everybody's favorite day of the week?
I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching. LOVE THIS LINKY!!!

We have had a very exciting week in our school.
(These are all from my phone camera so please excuse the graininess.)

ONE

Well, it finally is beautiful out. 70* and above almost all week. The kiddos have LOVED going out without their coats. They have been able to play on the equipment that hasn't been used since the fall. They all come in with blisters on their hands from the monkey bars. :)

TWO

We have been using the iPads almost everyday. Yesterday we used them for calendar. One student up at the SmartBoard and the others writing on their iPads. I used DoodleBugs. I know there is something out there that is easier and not so tempting for my firsties to veer off and make something else. :) When I find it, I will let you know. OR, if you know of any, please let me know.
We also made trains and units and represented them on the iPads.
The kids were SO EXCITED!!!

THREE

Not school related, but I coached my daughter's softball game. It was about 57*. Believe me, it did NOT feel like that. I have Raynaud's. It hasn't been an issue all winter. I was outside long enough for my fingers to turn white. When we got in the car to leave they were throbbing from warming up and then two of them turned BLUE!?!?!? Weird. That's never happened.

FOUR

We started a running club in school. There are parents running it.
We had a HUGE turnout.
How great is that?
On a side note, I have run 27.6 miles since last Monday. :)
That's the most I have run since the fall. YIPPPEEEE!!!

FIVE

My very good friend turns 50 tomorrow. She is taking it very gracefully. A bunch of us went out for dinner. As you can see we tried to make her as uncomfortable as we could...without success!!! She took it all in stride.
Our class is making her a GIGANTIC card and the staff is having snack in honor of her. ALL BLACK!!! :)

Have a wonderful day!!!

Oh Yeah.....The FREEBIE!!!

Today only. If you leave a comment about what you are looking forward to this summer and your email address, I will send you my Flippin' and Floppin' True or False packet.

May...It Can't Be!

Really? May already?
It can't be possible.
We have 36 days of school left and 6 Mondays.
Oh My!!!

Well, I am linking up with Farley again for one of my favorite linky parties.

Head on over to see other AMAZING bloggers.
:)

Listening: I think my dryer runs 24/7.
My little tiny bantam thinks he is about 10 feet tall. He has the funniest crow. It sounds like he is a 13 year old boy! :)

See how small he is compared to the others.

Loving: Finally it has been above 70*.

Thinking: My oldest is going to college this fall.
Oh My Goodness!
It was a very hard decision for her. I am so proud of her.

Wanting: My laminator broke. UGH!!!

Needing: My family is so busy right now...track, softball, softball, play rehearsals, traveling, etc..

Summer Bucket List:
1. I need to make a list of books I want to read...any suggestions?
2. I am going to make my family spend time together. AND we are going to have a good time! :)
3. I really worked during vacation last year. This year I am going to relax and enjoy it.

Thanks to Farley for doing this month after month. I LOVE it!!!

Have a wonderful day!
